When separate, uncoordinated, sources, not choreographed by me, discuss the same passage of scripture within a short period of time, I tend to take notice.
On April 27, in my read through the Bible in a year plan (which I am following, but my dates are off) part of the reading was from John 10:1-10. The King James version is below. In my translation, the word “door” below is translated as “gate.”
10 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
On April 28, the verse in the readings of the Psalms and Proverbs of the day struck me:
Psalm 118:19-20 (KJV) 19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord: 20 This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.
At about the same time, the i-Bible devotional prayer included a statement about how the Lord came to give life more abundantly.
On Friday of this past week, in the morning sermon by David Jeremiah, he preached about this very passage.
Finally, do you ever wonder, “how will I know God’s voice to be able to follow Him?” The answer came in a crescendo to the week, after watching a YouTube video, the next one in the series queued itself up. It is entitled “If You Think You Can Handle the Truth, Here It Is!! (The Language)” by Lion of Judah. It is 12 minutes and 40 seconds long, and well worth the time.
Please feel free to leave a comment. Thank you.

The multiple source of a message phenomenon has been my experience too. It seems God knows that we are spiritually children and so, like any good, loving parent, keeps patiently repeating the message until we accept it and (ideally) act on what we learn, at least to the extent of our understanding. It also sometimes has occurred when God wanted me to pray for someone. Like a catchy music chorus stuck in one’s mind that one keeps humming, that person’s name and things about that person kept coming to mind until finally the message got through and I prayed for the person.
